Quote: motion graphics I don't think it classifies as motion graphics as defined by 2D and 2.5D vector animations. It's pure 3D render as far as i can tell. You can check the credits at the end of the clip - the bulk of the effort went into animation, modeling, fluid simulations, render farm. The wicked spider thread transitions near the end of the clip is probably programatically generated content; i've no idea, but it was breath-taking.
