I've been playing Minecraft for quite some time now, and I've been having this idea of building up some kind of world that resembles Guild Wars... in Minecraft.
And nowadays I'm just bored, waiting for Guild Wars 2 to be released. So I thought... maybe someone of you guys would like to fulfill this little idea of mine?
So... what do you think? Is it madness even trying? Are you up for the epic task of building Tyria in Minecraft?

Nah, build Guild Wars - much more interesting (easier).
Dude, if you wanna set up a server or something - then I'd happily try and steadily add to it (this probably means over Christmas time tbh)?
It's a pretty cool idea. And I'd be able to work at it a lot more if someone were to set up a start point, map-scale etc. (*hint*)... I mean, if you're really keen on this, ask the Minecraft forums - I'm sure a bunch of people who don't frequent these forums will be up for the challenge too...

I had an idea for a cool fantasy structure in Minecraft - would love placing it on the QQ server.
It's not precisely fitting the GW lore, but it won't obstruct things.

Mm, perhaps a QQ server is more in order - and you can designate an area for building Tyria... Also, letting any one in from QQ is a bad idea. lol

We've made pre searing on my server complete with northern wall.. Its invite only but we're planning on making the fire islands and LA as well. Pretty funky.
