we finally arrived in act2
we are playing monk, barbarian , sorc and demon hunter
our barb and monk play some defensive skill setup with resistance against every dmg type and heals and stuff like this. our sorc is our main dd and the demon hunter got 4 stuns. 2 of them even stun bosses so u can rupt some strong attacks in important situations.
and btw we are not like the other scum which rushed diablo by skipping every single champion mob and just rushing through the dungeons. We actually PLAY every single dungeon.

I've got a barb in nightmare right now and I hear they are absolutely terrible in hell/inferno/endgame, what is your opinion?

i totally disagree. U just have to know wud ur job is. Kai isnt doing anything else than giving us some defensive aura buffs , tanking enemys and splitting them off so we can kill champions one by one. U just have get used to it that a barb will never ever become a super huge dmg machine.

i thought barbar is terrible. but yesterday i just pumped my armor with elemental resistance to about ~250 each and now i can actually tank stuff while doing decent dmg. anyways, the secret to have success with barbar is STRENGTH, VITALITY, and the most important in inferno INTELLIGENCE. intelligence buffs ur resistance for 0.1% of points you have in it, so its a huge must have in inferno. i play this set up: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#WVYike!VXb!YcZacaalways avoid standing in aoes, while kiting use seismic slam to deal a little dmg and stun. as soon as an enemy is not standing in an aoe, attack him. frenzy gives you a decent chance to stun aslong as you have a 1h weapon.

in fact its all enough when a sorc is doing all the dmg. The rest of us is supposed to make it the sorc as easy as possible.

That's cool, Sheepy, glad you're not rez-hopping We're running a Barb/WD/Wiz/DM build that's working well so far, but only in NM (play times not syncing up well so far). Right now, the Barb is doing the lion's share of the dmg, but it looks like it will round out pretty well later on. Nice thing about the WD is he brings along another tank (or two, or three) so it's just a party.

Both of which do huuuuuge damage. After I got zombie tower it took me a few hours to stop giggling every time I cast it.

Just got into hell last night with a couple of friends playing a bare minimum. D3 isn't hard so long as you have people in your party that aren't braindead facerollers. I agree with Kai and Sheepy about the role each class plays. Every class has a purpose and you won't get far unless everyone in your party pitches in.

Cheers for the advice, I started a monk but I'm gonna go back to my barb. I actually enjoy him more, even though I think he's more challenging to play.
