YES
In Skyrim you can fucking kick wolves in the face! The dragons (!!) are supposedly unscripted and they can fly around and eat shitters while burning your shit to the ground.
Who needs GW2?

Who needs GW2? "I'm a dragon. I'm just gonna fly through the air, then come down and eat this giant. Fuck that giant."

They took everything that was special about Morrowind and threw it out the window. I'm still gonna play this game and love it, but I'll wait for mods to come out before I give it a second go through.

The only thing that could be wrong with skyrim is a shitty storyline or shitty faction storylines, or a lack of various guilds/factions. The worst part about oblivion was fewer factions and a dissapointing main storyline. Other than that nothing really wrong with it, and that's me saying that as someone who prefers morrowind.

For me, Oblivion just ended when I got Drain Health 100, which was actually more a fault of the leveling system. Having a system where you're rewarded for not leveling up is kind of silly. Fallout 3 + NV addressed this, so I expect Skyrim to take a page out of that book and actually make it fun to level up.

I always felt like the leveling and attribute system in Oblivion was just clumsy. Also, the difficulty slider in the *main menu* says to me that they gave up on creating a single well-balanced experience. I'll check out Skyrim when I update my computer's 6yr old CPU

The leveling system in Oblivion was pretty bad, but from what I hear, Skyrim's one is closer to the one in Fallout 3, which worked pretty well. As you level, baddies get slightly better weapons within a range, so you won't see shitter bandits with Daedric stuff rolling around looking for the shit. Also, each skill has its own perk tree which you get to pick, instead of the Oblivion system where every 25 levels in a skill gave you a perk. Not sure exactly how this works but it's pretty smart if it works like it seems to.
Besides, fuck GW2 anyway.
