| + 5 AL obviously. +7 When you feel its more beneficial. And on spike you can change to +30. (not before spike, but in the middle of it) |

| Depends on how crazy you are at weapon swapping. Most of a spike is armor ignoring, or at least the big big damage of it. +5AL is going to tune down the damage of just general stuff, but +30 is still better for spikes. Help your monks out by using a +5AL, and let them just deal with spikes. |

| the way i think of it is when I get spiked I always swap to a +30 set anyways, so you might as well just camp a +5 weapon the rest of the time since youre not under any risk of dying |
You dedicate two weaponsets to defensive sets? Or do you keep your inventory open and swap from there? |

You missed the point, he said he sat in +5a set, then swapped to +30hp set mid spike. I asked if he had two defensive sets, and you just listed a standard warrior setup. Entire point missed. |

Obviously he meant his normal 'offensive' set has a +5a weapon.
+5 armor Axe/Sword +30 Health Hammer and always have a +30 Health Spear as well as a +30 Health Sword/Axe in case you're DP'd. |

If you're running sentinels insignias (which I believe most warriors are running now-a-days) on a hammer you will have 100 AL and probably 570 health with a +30 health mod on your hammer. Is it really worth it to bring your health down to 540 just to bump you up to 105 AL? I wouldn't think so.
I guess you can afford to lose that health if you are running an axe or a sword, but the difference between 116 armor level and 121 armor level can't be that significant, either. |

i have 3 axe sets and 1 spear set, the spear set is +30 which i swap to when im about to die, the axe sets are +5 which I just sit in normally
when I play hammer I do the same thing, +5 hammers and +30 spear
when I play casters i normally do use 2 defensive sets, 1 40/40 set and 1 high energy set so that I can easily swap between damage types unless its a multi attribute bar that has a lot to gain from the extra 40/40 set |

1) 40/40
2) 40/20/20
3) +5e/+30 Switch between +5e/+7AL | +30/+10AL
4) +15e/+15e |

if im playing ele or monk than sure ill take an enchant staff but most of the time its not needed. +7 al mods are bad, smart paragons/glass arrows rangers dont use piercing weapons anyways |

Run whatever you want on your weapon.
It's all in how you play. |

I was mainly referring to the ele split class with that post. Other midliners you would be more apt to take 2 40/40 sets. And +7 mods are amazing when the only thing attacking you is a shatterstone/fire ele.
At stand in general a +5AL will be most optimal. |
