| Because click to move is faster than side-stepping, you can click your character closer to him between swings, guaranteeing that you maintain your attack rate and not losing DPS. |

Okay there is one thing i dont get.. When u kite u avoid critical meaning lesser dps.. But u move slower.. And the warrior most likely have sprint anyway(just cancelled frenzy hopefully if im thinking the scenario of a charged warrior).. So how much dps are u rly avoiding by using mouse.? I rather stand with my side to a warrior than with my back..
And its only sidestepping that is slower.. The speed is the same when using forward on keyboard and using mouse.. Mouse is more accurate but still.. I think keyboard movement with right mousebutton is undisputed champion..
Only when retreating i can c the need for mousemoving but even then i still prefer keyboard.. Just nt sidestepping but still.. |

it is impossible to kite/pre kite as well with a keyboard or even right/click turning than pure click to move. people who don't will always disagree but, unfortunately, they are wrong. thats one battle I fought very hard with the rest of MH - now everyone clicks in our guild. if you don't click, you deserve to get owned by warriors. |

I've seen chiizu do this in obs... looked like he was dancing around his target. I just tried it out in a scrim and it's hard as hell for me. You have to be really precise or its counterproductive. Does this apply to chasing somebody at any time or do they have to be snared? The whole "swaying" motion of the screen to soften the camera as it follows you means you have to replicate its motion exactly with your mouse... Am I on the right track? |

It is 10x easier when the target is snared, which is why I love playing with a snare on my bar like Crippling Slash or even Axe Rake. It is possible to do it while a target is not snared but it is difficult and requires predicting where they will kite. It's even more difficult when you have an IAS on like Frenzy because you have to click even more often, but if you practice enough it becomes second nature and fairly easy to accomplish.
On the comparison between click-to-move and keyboard movement: watch Soul Wedding on obs and it explains a lot. I agree 100% with Phelann that click-to-move is far superior than keyboard movement, although others will disagree.
I have a much easier time destroying a target as a warrior when he kites in a circle; I get many more hits in. If you ever watch me play against MH, I get ridiculously annoyed because it's difficult to catch anyone on their team without being pre-kited instantly. The amount of energy you can help your monks conserve by avoiding damage like that adds up to a significant amount over the course of a match. EviL was a great example of this. |

I noticed this also when you played for dV, and I understand the reasoning behind it... but my question is, how exactly is it done? Are you clicking to where you predict your target to kite, then clicking on the target again? Or are you clicking, then hitting spacebar? Also, when I'm clicking around the target, I tend to just click the target, which breaks up my rhythm. Is this because I'm doing something wrong? or is it just a result of lack of practice? |

I abuse my space bar button a LOT while doing this. What I do is I'll attack with space bar, then click in the general direction (not directly on the ground in front of me) my target will kite in and I press space bar again maintaining my attack rate.
1.) Position yourself to the side of your target so that you can get more swings in before he starts kiting.
2.) Attack (space bar).
3.) Right before the end of the swing, click towards the direction you predict your target to kite in - you'll move in the process of swinging.
4.) Repeat steps 2 and 3 until target explodes due to awesomeness.
I'm finding it difficult to explain but that's the general gist of it. |

How not to play a good warrior (aka 10 best personal examples):
10. Overextend 3 agro bubbles away so you pull your monks forward yelling about blind and kill off half your team in the middle of someone elses base.
9. Think that you can take on a ranger (have to add a ranger who doesn't suck) with you on your warrior and win.
8. Ask how to launch catapault when standing next to it -- hey, you are the only one there -- wasting a good 3513531 minutes of the game while you as a warrior do no damage.
7. Grab repair kit instead of flag, thinking said repair kit is flag (what? use pick up first item button, noob) - - don't worry, you are not supposed to be the flag runner.
6. Argue in the middle of a match so that nobody can hear what is going on and your team slowly loses npcs, degens out and dies.
5. Spike Melandru's Dervishes whose forms are up over, and over and over again.
4. Agro footies, never kill them, full wipe your team, res, run into opponents base, get snared, die to catapault. Repeat.
3. Save adrenaline skills for spikes only.
2. Stay on the same protted target the whole fucking game.
1. Bring the wrong attributes and never tell anyone. |

I do this all the time and we get a great positional advantage while delaying their runner. |
